Formulator is a powerful interactive mathematical expressions editor. It uses WYSIWYG-style editing and allows creating mathematical equations through simple point-and-click techniques.

Formulator is the intelligent software, aware of presentation or semantics face of mathematics. In addition to our cross-platform edition, we have developed a special edition of our MathML software that runs inside an Internet browser. Choosing among available techniques we decided to port our software to some of existing browser plugins (as opposed to a scripting language approach), and selected Silverlight plugin by Microsoft. General picture of this solution includes a server part that is working on MS Windows operating system, and a very thin Silverlight client, that is working inside a browser and in ideal case should not depend on operating system.

Formulator Tarsia known earlier as Formulator Jigsaw is an editor designed for Teachers of Mathematics creating the activities in a form of jigsaws or dominos etc for later use in a class. It includes the powerful equation editor for building the math-expressions for the activities.

An advanced feature of text placement along the side of the shape makes this tool irreplaceable software for fast activity creation. Formulator Tarsia became a powerful tool for learning activities since it supports the activity templates. It enables easy support of teachers and gives them new perspectives to development of their teaching activity.
